Not medical advice

isitspreading summarizes public reporting about disease outbreaks. It is not medical advice, and it is not a substitute for a doctor or your local health authority. If you think you are sick, contact a medical professional.

Independent

isitspreading is independent. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or speaking for the World Health Organization, the CDC, any government, or any health agency.

Accuracy

We link every figure to its source and only count a case as confirmed once a health authority confirms it. Even so, early reporting can be incomplete or wrong, and the situation can change faster than this site is updated. Always check the original sources and official guidance before acting.

Donations

Donations are processed by Stripe through the DeFlock Monterey Stripe account, so your card statement may show DeFlock Monterey. All donations are final and are not refunded. Monthly donations can be canceled at any time through the feedback page.

Map locations

Map pins mark the town or facility named in reporting. They are approximate and never identify a private home or a person.
